Sunday's junior church session was all about prayer. We started with a guided meditation which focused on all of us being different yet there is a place for all of us as we are God's people. The flickering candles and the quiet helped us all to relax and become thoughtful.
We then looked at prayer. Why, how, who and what. This inspired each child and young person to put together their own prayer sheet.
We finished the session with a group prayer, all holding hands, everyone sharing one thing they would like to pray for.
It was truly a special session for both children and helpers!
